1. Kayak With Migrating Whales

Take your kayaking experience to the next level! Join a guided sea kayaking tour in peak whale migration for your chance to kayak alongside the gentle giants of the ocean. 

We keep a respectful distance from these wonderful creatures while we watch them migrate south along our shores. After Whale spotting, pull into a secluded bay for morning tea and an optional snorkel!

4. Clyde River Overnight Kayak Camping

Experience the magic of the South Coast on an overnight kayaking trip down the Clyde River, starting in Batemans Bay. Drift through calm waters, pass by mangroves, and enjoy the sights of local wildlife as you journey along the river.

Pitch your tent along the riverbanks and spend the night under the stars. This overnight adventure is ideal for families or groups of friends looking for an unforgettable, nature-filled escape.

5. Birdwatch from A Kayak

Spring is the best time for birdwatching, why not do it from a kayak! 

Float silently with the tide in search of birds along our waterways. 

Kingfishers, shorebirds, sea eagles, cormorants and spoonbills are usually spotted on these relaxed beginner friendly kayak trips.

Stop halfway for morning tea and a cuppa on the sand bank!

6. Snorkelling Hotspots

Guerilla Bay, Shark Bay (Broulee), & Tomakin Cove: Grab your snorkel gear and hit these hidden gems!

The crystal-clear waters are teeming with vibrant marine life, from colourful fish to octopuses and everything in between.

Guerilla Bay is especially great for families, with its sheltered waters and rock pools.

7. swimming with seals

8. Surf’s Up!

It’s never too late to catch your first wave, and Broulee is the perfect place to do it. Sign up for a surf lesson, and soon you’ll be shredding with the best of them. The instructors are super friendly, and the waves are ideal for beginners – no wipeouts here! (well, not too many anyway)

9. Pitch Your Tent in Paradise

There’s nothing like waking up to the sounds of nature.

Set up camp in one of the many National Park campgrounds scattered along the coast, like Murramarang or Mimosa Rocks. Toast marshmallows, share stories under the stars, and reconnect with nature.

10. Diving the Tollgate Islands

For a true underwater adventure, join Beneath the Bay for a diving tour around the Tollgate Islands. Explore rocky outcrops, swim with schools of fish, and discover vibrant coral gardens. You may even spot the endangered grey nurse shark!
