Region x – Cancelation Policy

COVID Cancellation Policy 

Any cancellation due to COVID-related government restrictions beyond guest  and operator control, received by Region X more than 30 days prior to tour  departure is eligible for a full refund. 

Cancellations within 30 days, we offer a 70% refund, and 30% (or equal to tour  deposit) will be issued as a voucher to re-book and postpone to a later date, with a  2-year validity.  

Flights and travel to each tour start location are not our responsibility and not  covered in this policy, travellers wishing to redeem loss of travel expenses will need  to consult their travel insurance policy (recommended) or the transport company  (plane, train, bus). 

Standard Cancelation Policy (non covid reasons) 

Any cancelations prior to 30 days are eligible for a full refund. 

Cancellations within 30 days eligible for a 70% refund and 30% or equal to the tour  deposit will be forfeit to cover associated losses incurred by the operators and  suppliers. 

What if we cancel?  

A full refund will apply to tours cancelled by Region X due to inclement weather or  any safety reason if the tour cannot be rebooked to the customer’s satisfaction.  


If you choose to book online, our booking system will request your credit card  details or PayPal for payment.  

If you choose to book via phone, your name, phone number, tour type and tour  date will be requested by one of our friendly team. Unpaid tours within 30 days of  travel dates are considered not confirmed and your spots may be sold. You can pay via credit card, paypal or Region x to send you an invoice for Direct  deposit for your travel. 

Please ensure full payment is made prior at 30 days of your experience or your seats  will not be held. 


A 30% deposit at the time of booking is required to confirm you spot on any of our  multi day departures, this allows us to confirm contractor arrangements and allocate  resources to your departure. Please see above for deposit rules. 


Travel plans, flights, hotels, accommodation, travel expenses, car hires  The nature of our industry means weather can effect your experience, Region X and  its agents are in no way responsible for any loss or travel expenses occurred during  your tour booking process for reasons beyond our control such as weather, injury,  personal circumstance or Pandemic.


For bookings made through a third party such as a booking agent it is important that  you carefully read their terms and conditions, as they may differ to Region X’s T&C.  For cancellations and booking changes please contact the organisation you booked  with directly.  

Personal Equipment  

Region X are in no way responsible for any loss or damage to any personal  equipment through participation in this activity.
