Free kayak hire for keen river rubbish removers! Paddle up the estuary and clean as you go or walk around the nearby area and clean up on foot. Gloves and bags available from Boatshed in Mossy point (next to the ramp). Come along anytime between 8am and 12pm! Collect your rubbish and leave it at one of the following places for rubbish collection: the litter bins at Captain Oldrey Park, the litter bins on Coronation Drive nearby the Brewhouse, or the skip bin down at the Broulee Surf Club, the litter bins at Mossy boat ramp, the litter bins at Jack Buckley Park. Join us on a kayak clean up to collect marine debris in Mcleods Gully and help log the data into the Tangaroa Blue Australian Marine Debris Intitiative database. The data we collect will be used to identify the source of marine debris pollution in our area so that we can help stop it entering the waterways in the first place! We will explore a different estuary between Ulladulla and Narooma each month and keep a bird list of all the feathered friends we see.
