Walking in Murramarang is extremely rewarding, the views from the cliff tops and rock platforms are amazing, the intricate coves, quiet beaches, coves and the ancient geological features in the area make a day hike a truly rich experience.
Murramarang hosts a trail network of approx 45 km, for our day walk, we have hand picked a section that gives you the best of geological patterns, a lake crossing using our kayaks, amazing beaches and cliff top views!
We also offer a 3 day guided experience, through the park taking in the entire trail network!
Between June and November, there is the very real possibility of seeing migrating whales from a clifftop, a truly exhilarating experience.
This tour runs daily, please be aware we do require minimum numbers to confirm this departure.

Tour itinerary
7:30AM
Hotel Pickups commence in Batemans Bay.
Travelling north from Batemans Bay in comfortable air conditioned transport you will reach the Murramarang National Park, we start this walk in the village of South Durras.
Throughout the morning we enjoy
- Rock platforms
- Cliff Tops
- Long Beaches
- Lake Crossings by foot or kayak
- Ancient Rock Platforms
We choose any number of amazing spots for our lunch and offer the possibility of a swim!
After lunch we check out the clip top views and rainforest of Depot beach prior to transfer back to Batemans Bay.
This Day tour include morning tea and lunch along the way and wind up with a supported vehicle pickup mid afternoon.

While none of the trails in the park are long and steep – Region X does not recommend anyone with knee, ankle, heart or lung conditions to attempt these hikes.
