Join us for a kayak skills session! Get comfortable in your kayak, improve your skills and have loads of fun! Each fortnightly session will feature a masterclass in 'Paddle Techniques, Launching and Landing' OR 'Rescue and Rolling'. Join for just one session, come along each month or sign up for both options! Our team will advise via email a few days prior, what to bring, what to wear and most importantly where to meet as destination will be weather and tide dependant. After School Kayaking
Our exciting After School Kayak Program is for young people aged 6 to 17 yrs – designed to get them active in the outdoors, while building their confidence in and on the water. Students will learn the fundamentals of kayaking in a safe and inclusive environment, making friends along the way! The program runs one afternoon a week over an eight week term, meeting at The Boatshed, Mossy Point at 3:30pm and concluding at 5pm. The program is the perfect avenue for any young person wanting to learn the art of kayaking, or a student that has prior knowledge of kayaking and wants to further develop their skills in a fun environment. Run by highly qualified, friendly and professional staff on the gentle waters of Tomaga River Estuary, Mossy Point – each week offering something entirely new. The most important component to this program is that it is fun and non-threatening…..meaning that students of all ages and abilities can join in and have an absolute blast. Young At Heart Program

The Region X ‘Young at Heart’ Paddle Program is a guided kayak development program designed for seniors to encourage social engagement, build paddle skills and increase physical coordination. Have you ever felt a desire to get on the water in the beautiful waterways that surround us here in the Eurobodalla? Now is your chance, with our launch of the “Young at heart” Paddle program, Region X trip leader Garran has designed a 6 week paddle program based around encouraging participation for new paddlers and seniors. Birdwatching Paddle
Calling all bird enthusiasts! Come with us on a gentle paddle to spot birds on the Far South Coast. We will explore a different estuary between Ulladulla and Narooma each month and keep a bird list of all the feathered friends we see. Our team has hand picked some lesser know waterways to explore by kayak for these paddles and we do not offer any regular tours to these locations. Twitchers of all experience welcome! Morning tea provided, BYO binoculars. Clean Up Australia Day Paddle – FREE!
Mossy PointFree kayak hire for keen river rubbish removers! Paddle up the estuary and clean as you go or walk around the nearby area and clean up on foot. Gloves and bags available from Boatshed in Mossy point (next to the ramp). Come along anytime between 8am and 12pm! Collect your rubbish and leave it at one of the following places for rubbish collection: the litter bins at Captain Oldrey Park, the litter bins on Coronation Drive nearby the Brewhouse, or the skip bin down at the Broulee Surf Club, the litter bins at Mossy boat ramp, the litter bins at Jack Buckley Park. Kayak Marine Debris Clean Up – FREE
Volunteer to be a part of the solution! Join us on a kayak clean up to collect marine debris in Mcleods Gully and help log the data into the Tangaroa Blue Australian Marine Debris Intitiative database. The data we collect will be used to identify the source of marine debris pollution in our area so that we can help stop it entering the waterways in the first place! Beginner paddlers and novice rubbish collectors welcome. BYO water, hat, sunscreen, snacks. Kayak and safety equipment, gloves and clean up bags provided. Meeting location: South Side Boatramp on Clyde Street, Batemans Bay (South Side of the bridge).
