“Our family did the half day Clyde river kayak tour and it was simply stunning. Started out from Batemans Bay and ended in Nelligen – it was easy with the tide”
Tour itinerary
7:30-8AM
To start this amazing tour, you will be met by a friendly Region X trip leader at the start location. We meet at Batemans bay or Nelligen and the location varies depending on the tides and we will let you know the day prior!
Our staff will give you a kayaking lesson on the beach, before setting off on your guided adventure.
On the water, the river scenes are magical and always changing as we round river bends and often sneak between mangrove passages, into quiet bays. We stop on quiet beaches or even islands midway for morning tea. We can explore on foot and even take a dip, so bring your swimmers and towels if you wish!
We like to enjoy morning tea for about an hour, its your time to enjoy, before we paddle on to our different finish location. A transfer back to your vehicles will follow.
This tour uses capable double sit in style sea kayaks, often called “the bears of the sea” they are stable and comfortable – It is an extremely eco friendly way to visit an area with low impact, no noise, long life of the craft and powered by you! A very Carbon friendly activity.
