Tour itinerary

 8AM

To start this amazing tour, you will be met by a friendly Region X trip leader at the start location. The location varies depending on the conditions and we will let you know the day prior!

After slipping into a wetsuit, a PFD and being issued your snorkel kit, you’ll be given an in-depth kayak and snorkel lesson, we then launch! Once on the water we enjoy the freedom of kayaking and conditions permitting often sneak between rock passages, into quiet bays and choose local secret protected sites to anchor the kayaks. After our guides have checked the anchor we put on our snorkels and slide into the water for a look around! Our team will do their best to show you all things amazing in and around the ocean.

The South coast of NSW, is home to kelp forest which support healthy cold water biodiverstity. You can expect water temperature of 16 (winter) through to our warmest waters in April of around 22. Fish life, variety of sea weeds, urchins, abalone, snail shells, lobster, ray species and sometimes even seals!

Spend some time exploring with your snorkel buddy or your guides and enjoy the in water experience!

After our snorkel, we enjoy morning tea, hot drinks and muffins! We may do this floating around anchored together or paddling to a protected beach, your guides will decide the best option given the conditions. We then paddle back to our start location and marvel at a wonderful day!

The Kayak Snorkel Tour range uses capable double sit on style kayaks, making getting in and out really easy. It is an extremely eco friendly way to visit an area with low impact, no noise, long life of the craft and powered by you! A very Carbon friendly activity.

The tour departs all year, on demand, weather permitting, remember winter and spring temperatures can be cold!

You can book any date in our availability calendar you like.

This tour is suitable for non swimmers, we simply ask you to keep your PFD (life jacket on).
