    Tour itinerary

     10AM AND 1PM DAILY

Meet your guide on the banks of the Clyde River, Batemans Bay. After a warm welcome to the area, you will be introduced to your double sea kayaks, be issued your gear and receive a kayaking lesson. We then slip onto the calm, smooth waters, and in no time you will become part of the successful story that is Oyster Farming on the Clyde.

After a short paddle up river, we meet the growers for a truly unique farm gate experience. Indulge in tasting the different varieties grown here as you learn about the fascinating process of oyster growing and harvesting. With our appetites whetted, we say farewell to the farmer and head off to explore the oyster leases by kayak.

Float through the charming ‘Oyster Village’, where farmers are busy at work before returning to your meeting location after 2 hours. There is ample time to return to the Oyster Shed to purchase a few of your favourite dozen!
