Family Friendly Tours

All of our tours here at Region X are family friendly but we highly recommend the tours below for the most fun and enjoyment by everybody.

The Glass Bottom Kayak Tour is great fun and the kids will learn loads about all types of creatures and features of the marine ecosystem. Look through the Glass Bottomed Kayak and try to spot a Stingray!

The Pizza Paddle Kayak Tour is something else. When you ask the kids in 20 years time if they remember eating renowned Sam’s Pizzeria Woodfired Pizza on top of a Kayak while floating by the Clyde River Bridge… we guarantee they will say yes! That’s dinner catered for.

The Half Day Sea Kayak Tour is for those whose family really love adventure. This tour does venture in to the seas so we don’t recommend this tour for children too young but as we utilise double kayaks you can sit behind your child and give them the paddle power they need. If you have more children then you do adults please contact us and we will sit them up front of one of our friendly tour guides providing there is space available!

The DIY option is also great fun for families. We have single and double kayaks available for hire on the Tomago River at Mossy Point. This river is well known for it’s massive Smooth Spotted Stingrays which frequent the boat ramp looking for a snack. Come and try spot them on your paddles! Please note, hire availability varies according to tide and weather conditions.
