The tour departure locations are chosen a few days prior, depending on the wind, swell and group factors, either way stable double sea kayaks will have you slipping through glassy waters with amazing scenery, all within the Batemans Marine Park.

This guided sea kayak tour is recommended for anyone that has a passion for adventure and pristine National Parks. There is always time for swimming so bring a towel and a snorkel set if your keen! Perfect for visitors, specials occasions, as a gift for adventurous loved ones, or to share with a group of friends. Add the possibility of spotting dolphins, penguins, flying fish, seals, migratory birds – and you are sure to be impressed!

Itinerary:

To start this amazing tour you will be met by a friendly Region X trip leader at the start location. A verbal tour briefing, including what to expect, packing your personal belongings and introduction to the equipment will follow.

Our staff train you on the beach, then coach you on the water before setting off on your guided adventure.

On the water, the views are magical and always changing as we round headlands and often sneak between rock passages, into quiet bays, open water and stop in exclusive quiet coves or beaches midway for morning tea. Explore on foot and even take a dip, so bring your swimmers, towels and goggles if you wish!

We like to enjoy morning tea for about an hour, its your time to enjoy, before we paddle on to a unique and often different finish location to the starting point.

A transfer back to your vehicles will follow.

The Sea Kayak Tour range uses capable double sea kayaks, often called “the bears of the sea” to visit unique, remote and amazing locations. It is an extremely eco friendly way to visit an area with low impact, no noise, long life of the craft and powered by you! A very Carbon friendly activity.

The tour departs all year, on demand, weather permitting.

The tour has a min req. of 4 starters to confirm, if you are a group of 2, we encourage you to book anyway, we usually have regular departures with other guests on board. (We can also run as a smaller group for a premium price) and 16 as a max group size:
